I been hearing some people being like "man psychiatrist appointments seem lacking for mental health" ??
I thought it was a known fact that it be like this:
Therapist: get advice, get diagnosis
Psychiatrist: get meds
Literally the only reason I go to a psychiatrist is for meds, that's what they do, hell that's *all* they do
\_o_/ mayhaps I'm tripping but that's how it's worked for me in practice

Yes, it's true.
A psychiatrist (or another licensed professional) prescribes you the medication. While a psychologist (or another trained professional) is the one you talk to about your feelings, etc.
