first of all, people say that suicide is selfish, I mean no one thinks about what has gone through with that person is it selfish that they have possibly reached out to you but you didn't really help... isn't that selfish? instead, you say that it's life and you tell them to move along. I'm not selfish. you are.

suicidal thoughts
in some instances my intrusive thoughts get really bad I just wish be narcotized, wish for eternal sleep, numbness, to stop myself from feeling what i'm feeling...
I agree, things are only "selfish" in the eyes of the other person. They're thinking about how it affects them. They could also say "changing your hair color is selfish because I have to look at it". Everyone has the right to do whatever they want with their life. If someone else has a problem with it, that's on them.
ReplyIts like this. Life sucks at times. Yes I get that. And people get pushed to believe that's the only way to stop their pain. Yes obviously they are hurting. However it don't affect just you, it affects everybody you know. Its throwing a perfectly good life away that couldve possibly accomplished great things in life and found happiness later on. You don't know what the future holds. None of us do. Its a permanent solution for a temporary problem. So I don't advise anyone to off themselves. You matter and you're important. Life may suck today but it can possibly be better in a week or so maybe a month or year you don't know. So give that some thought. I won't say its selfish but I will say its not the right way to deal with your problems.

Replydamn i can relate to this so much...
i think the exact same thing, i talk to all my friends about this.
and i told them how bad i am doing for a very long time and thta its getting worse and worse.
they listen to me but then it does not change a single thing.
they dont ask me how i am doing they dont make time for me, when i need them.
i mean i get that you have your own life but i would never do that to someone, when they are important to me. i would leave every single thing thta i am doing and go.
but i guess thats just because they dont really know or feel how bad it can get
