Okay so, whenever I hear someone talking about war, I have this thought that "do you really wanna be that guy who supported war or even tried to understand it?". Like, I don't understand war. Is this a lesson I have yet to learn? Life taught me before that I was wrong in very unsatisfying manners. For example I really wanted to drink beer when they deprived me from it, but then I think they were right because I can't see myself drinking alcohol anymore. Currently we have the war between Russia and Ukraine. I'm sure there are reasons why this happens, I guess I just don't want to understand. It makes me depressed, I don't understand this world. People want Putin to fucking die exploded by a missile, I just can't stand living in a world like this. So, this might be a lesson that I've yet to learn, because this is life. Whether you like it or not, war exists. Somehow I refuse to believe that people can be so dumb to start conflicts like that, like how do you sleep at night? How do you sleep in the middle of a battlefield? Why do wars take years sometimes? Good god they are dying and not me. I don't care about soldiers, they are stupid. If you're dumb enough to follow rules by one person, you deserve to die. That's how slavery got started. War is modern slavery. Instead of doing labors they die for their country. Some day you're going to look back and the new generations would be glad they didn't have to live this shit. All for nothing, yeah war is just for nothing. Lies if you tell me otherwise. I bet it's one of their dreams to die and be tortured, like that's what masochists do.

Who we are
Who we are I always thought of refugees as other people, Fleeing somewhere in the Middle East or Africa, Or in a Europe we read about in history class, It...
These are good questions and I agree with all your conclusions except one: I don't think new generations will be any better. I don't think there will ever be a day when humans look back and feel relieved that war is in the past, because war will always exist. Wanna know why?
War is crime at an international level.
Plain and simple. It's one person stealing from another, or it's one person getting mad and punching another, or sometimes it's just a total misunderstanding and 2 people get into a fight, but war is the same way except it's 1 leader vs. another leader. And like you said, soldiers are stupid enough to blindly follow what some man in a fancy marble building says.
Crime is part of human DNA. The selfish desire to take something from someone, or the aggressive desire to hurt someone (for revenge, for ego, for fear) is part of being human, just like hate and love and all that stuff. Crime will never go away. War will never go away.
The best we can do is hope it doesn't hit us (crime or war). It's pretty bleak being a human.
