My First Responder career allowed me to still work in our family's Real Estate Agency. Between my grandfather and father there were approximately 138 units spread out over 4 building's we also had 6 or 7 single family dwellings. Each apartment building had a on property assistant manager tbier job was to take any complaints write up service tickets and.to show the units as they came available. My position was to oversee all 4 complexes make sure each complex was up LA County Fire codes and collection of the rent esch month and then deposit the money into the correct accounts.then there were the Evictions I had to begin and file the appropriate documents. I learned quickly especially in disputed evictions not to be harsh or threaten the tenant because when a manager does this the chances are the tenant will purposely damage that apartment home although some tenants make it hard i would just let it go. Most everything paperwork wise was done by hand or type written laptops were not yet available.
