It's the same feeling as watching someone else going down all the right ways of life...

Yeah, they came a long way, and I'm happy for them, truly. I don't have problems with them. I just...everytime he is being complimented for his role as a partner...it felt like it was being rubbed in my face. Not anyone's fault I suppose. It kind of hurts and feels humiliating that a 'prime example' is being pointed out, while I became the bad one. Sure, my partner didn't seem ideal in their eyes... but after all that's said and done, I just want to move on from it.
