so much stress

i’m a primary school student in p6. because of psle coming up, my parents want me to study more to get a better score. they expect me to do as well as my older sister or even better. but they are just trying to compare. i am very addicted to my mobile devices but i have also been studying hard. my father who said that he would buy me a new phone if i meet his expectations just said to me that he won’t do so anymore. i was just taking a break from studying and looking at my phone only for a bit since my mother said that i should take a break. he said that i was talking back to him even though my mother told me to do so. i wished my parents didn’t expect so much from me and didn’t have such high expectations of me. i just didn’t want to be pressured and stressed out so much. i just wished my parents would try to understand how i feel more when i cry in bed at night.
