yup, just as the title says. my workmate little to none works during duty. and i am very impressed and furious as how shamelessly she's been doing this since the moment she started working here.
her schedule early in the morning was to watch some video, probably in facebook. then, she later went to watch more videos in youtube.
meanwhile, we, her workmates, have been doing work. i, for one, have been watching a video review before another training that i needed to conduct.
please, just kill me already.
although, our job description differs. her lack of initiative is beyond helping. this goes with just her overall peformance.

ReplyIt may be infuriating, she will get whats coming to her. If not id be handing in my walking papers. If a business can be run like that thats No business id deal with or want to be a part of.
I was a key person for picking and recruiting people out of applications. I hired and trained many. I had one person like this. Did the minimum that was on the job description. Thats it nothing else. Im only getting paid to do X so i do X. When asked to do Y Job or Z job. Nope not paying me for it. Sadly the manager of the location was one that oh you have to be friends to get good employees. While all he did was fantasy sports and FB all day never leaving his air conditioned office. (Other than his office the warehouse didnt have AC). I finally talked to my GM and we put a plan into action. When it came to. Onus Pool time, they wanted me to five out (bonuses and talk to each employee) called Employee 1 in and said well since you showed no initiative to want to expand and show you want to rise up the ladder here is your bonus check. He hurriy opens the letter to find his bonus was a $25 Amazon Gift card. He was unhappy and asked WTF I did my job! My reply was you did the minimum requirements only and didn't make your sales quota. That's it sorry. He quit a week later. Manager also got a minimum as the branch hardly made profit. The one counter employee about shit himself as I gave him 80% of the branches (3 employes and a driver (divers all got safe driving awards and some good money separate from sales)) bonus pool for hard work, long hours and excelling in making the branch profitable. And I'm talking a $XX,xxx check. I took my share manager got 5% and the other 5% went to corp to help other branches. Manager was caught embezzling money 6 months later and terminated)
So basically work hard, play hard, do what is asked and strive to climb that ladder. You will be stepping up far before the lazy bum. Just keep your nose clean and focused on your daily tasks and things will happen in awesome ways.
