My Unsent Letter

Dear K _ _ _ _ _ _ _,

We are best friends, at least you think that. I am thinking about our friendship in a totally different way. Are we friends? Yes, we are friends, but there are lots of things why I don't feel like you're my bestie.

First, I can't tell you who my crush is and I can't talk about boys with you. Oh, and why is that would you ask? 'Cause you don't know what's like to be in love with someone and I know you would judge me. You have already done it a lot of times. One time, I trusted you and told you who's my big crush and what did you do? You said that I’m crazy and too young to have a crush. You told others about it and then started making fun of me. You think it is funny, but I was crying that night. Oh, not just one night, a few more nights.

Also, I can't go shopping with you. Why? 'Cause you don't like shopping and you don't like dresses and you don't like crop tops and all the other stuff. All my other friends go shopping, but you don't like it. And even I you'd go with me, I can't shop with you cause you will always judge the way I dress. I am a 14-year-old teenager; you can't judge me because I wear crop tops and short socks and sports bras and dresses.

Oh and also, I can't tell you when I have a breakdown because you would not understand me. You have such a perfect life you don't understand what it like is to be listening to your parents fighting or not having any cousins you could always talk to or just fighting with my sister. You don't understand me and you're not trying to.

And there are a few more things but i will leave it. I am sorry but you are not my bestie.
