jaw clenched tight

about to snap

pop goes my skull

as i walk

a heavy knapsack

glorious

way up high

brilliant emerald green

and i hate myself

for holding on

we crash

awaken to the dawn’s soft light

the teeth marks fade

your neck shines bright
