These are my personal circumstances:
So I'm almost 40 years old woman
I take paroxetin 20 mg since my serotonin is not enough for a normal life
I experimented with fatigue twice per month approximately
My mother maintains me since I don't have work now (I had until July 2023)
I have lived with my parents since 2009, when I came back to my country because I divorced.
I "graduated" therapy successfully in August 2023 so my psyche has resources to face an extreme self-demanding issue I had (and now is minorized and I can live in my head "normally" like any other average person").
Here's what I do not like, what I like, and social-political-economyc circumstances:
I don't like lying to sell, so I can't work in selling (no matter how others try to put it to not call it SELLING, lol)
I don't like manipulating people's emotional necessities to sell either, so today's marketing won't work for me.
I'm a humanitarian person who worries about others' happiness, so I'm a Catholic who enjoys praying for others and doing humanitarian work that doesn't pay money.
I can't depend on my lovely mother for money since it's not right now that I'm healthier.
I have lived in a country fighting communism and socialism and populism since 40 years old, even with democracy. But it is totally corrupted.
I can't enterprouner because my social skills for it kinda suck: is like, I wanna say "hey, my product is good, just buy it or go away, lol." Marketing is even more difficult than simply selling for a company.
Apparently, selling is not my thing...
My point is:
I can pretend and sell and do all the things required in the world to have money, but it takes me quite a bunch of energy, even now that I'm healthier. I'm not overreacting. Please take me serious about this. When I do 1 day of selling work, I need to rest sleeping a big nap of 4 hours the next day, and usually, without socialising because I'm exhausted.
But life is life, and my mother will die someday, but beyond that reality, I need to find a way to sustain my basic necessities.
Do you ever face a situation like this?
Or maybe you knew a friend who did?
Do you have ideas that didn't have occurred to me? Or maybe some inspiration from a friend's story with similar circumstances?
I can't count with government help. I tried, of course, but those are for extreme cases, and my health case here is not even a discussed subject.

Depending on where you are, you may want to consider getting into government public service jobs or in manufacturing. Alison.com has courses for work you may find helpful.
ReplyI'm in Argentina, Southamerica.
I'm currently learning how to make candles and soaps. That's manufacturing right?
Government public service is not available option since requiere to have contacts. I passed the examn, but it doesn't matter since they pick people they know (it's already arranged). Even for the lowest positions (like people cleaning streets).
It's good advice though, made me think of options didn't occur to me :)
