Silence (A poem about self healing)

Wind whispering in my ears

Chilling me to the bone

Clouds of breath, in the air

There is finally silence.

My thoughts have faded

And i can finally rest

It is darkness surrounding me

But only i only see the light of the man from above

And at least, There is finally silence.

The silence is usually overstimulating

But on this cold night, I seem to enjoy it

The scars on my body aren't there, in this moment

There is finally silence.

The negative thoughts that once filled my mind

Do not seem to exist, any longer

As i ask for forgiveness of my sins of harm to myself

There seems to finally be silence.

For i am a new person

And the days will only get better

Cause i have faith deep within

And there is finally silence in my mind.
