This is strange but I am an adult who cannot remember multiple tables. Or I should say, for some reason, I can never remember the solution to the following:
8x7, 9x7, and 9x6. And just these ones. Everything else I can remember, but for whatever reason, I blank out (and internally panic out of embarrassment) when it comes to the numbers 8, 9, and 7. Then again, I'm bad at math in my head. Just give it to me straight, am I an idiot?

noo youre not, you just get confused.
ReplyIt depends what age of an adult you are. If you are only out of school two years ago, then you are dumb. If you are a hundred years old, then not so much.
ReplyYou’re definitely not stupid regardless of what age you are and it might be a memory or processing issue.
Some mathematical problems were very difficult for me, not because I didn’t understand what was being explained but because I lacked the ability to retain the information given. This doesn’t equal stupid (or dumb even if you left school two years ago 🙄)
ReplyNo, I am the same. I am okay with the tables until I get to the 7 times table and I forget 8 and 9 as well. Here is a better way that I do the tables: 1 coffee table in the lounge room, I coffee table in the sitting room, 1 dining table in the kitchen, 1 dressing table in the bedroom, and 1 desk in two bedrooms. Then 3 tables outside. Ha ha.
