Am I the ass hole for leaving my childhood best friend even though she ended up treating me like shit? Well it started when she meant my other friend we weren’t that close but they got closer which drew me to get closer as well and we all three became good friends. But like a year into our friendship I realized how toxic it was. Like well just call her girl #2 would get upset at me for hanging out with girl #1 my childhood friend. But they were able to hangout all the time and girl #1 would leave me out all the time when we were together. They stated calling me ugly and basically saying how horrible of a friend I am because I only think of myself and never let them hangout alone. They hung out alone more then I’ve ever hung out with them. So first day of high school i had enough and I left both of them and ended up not having any body for a month. And they would bully me text me and threaten me by telling my family all my secrets and how they could ruin my life even though I did nothing to them. I was bullied by them and they still tell me today how they never did anything to me and I was always the jerk.

ReplyThis happens when there are three. One is pushed out.
ReplyNo you are not "the *hole". Sadly this is petty behavior that happens, mostly when people have too much free time on their hands, which I suppose is why some say "youth is wasted on the young". Without realizing - you are setting boundaries by taking some time to yourself. At the very least you can join sports, hobbies or academic clubs and make new friends, or whenever you're ready have a talk with them about boundaries, that even friends should have boundaries. Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible, intangible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
Mary, Mother of Christ, intercede for us with your prayers, now, and always.
And after our worst deeds - never forget God forgives us when we repent through Christ Jesus.
