I am physically attracted to her. After I spent time with her doing outdoor activities and restaurants, I'm seeing qualities that I like.
Her mom and brothers likes me. Her friends are crazy for me. I make her genuinely laugh and smile but she's just ambivalent. She says she's socially anxious. She's not very expressive so it's hard to figure her out.
Here are some reasons why I think she's not interested or restraining herself.
- She submitted an application to a volunteer job very far away. You readers wouldn't get it if I tried explained it.
- She's still in love with another man.
- She isn't ready for something serious. She's of age but relatively young
- She just doesn't like me.
- Joseph

I like seeing you contented

Well, if she truly stirs you, try to find the courage to show her little by little that you are interested in her romantically, because once you're in the friend zone it is really hard to get out of that box, and if you're not careful you could be another Gump to Jenny. Look at this way, at least you'll know if you have a chance at capturing her mind and heart if you try, instead of spending years wondering "what if". And if it doesn't work in your favor, then keep in mind that romantic love is always around the corner season after season for those who are physically and emotionally available, and usually arrives when we least expect it. Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible, intangible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
Mary, Mother of Christ, intercede for us with your prayers, now, and always.
And after our worst deeds - never forget God forgives us when we repent through Christ Jesus.
