he was all I ever needed, but now he's gone too. What was/is wrong with me?

remember all the laughs we had,

the way time used to move slower when young?

the way you grabbed my hand,

but claimed to never like me.

the way you joked around me in front of other people,

but alone, we had intimacy.

but we were just kids.

the older we got, the more separate we had become.

I tried holding us,

but yet you failed to hold the other side of the rope,

and I fell...

for you.

You didn't feel the same,

that's what you had said.

But everyday you'd tell me how perfect I was,

or even promise me you'd never leave.

but now,

it's not us laughing,

It's you and everyone else.
