I just feel that when someone is sitting beside you like your children or your husband , wife or mother father you should stop using your mobile if it's not something important and requires your full attention. They've come to you to talk to you and spent time with you. My mother is a housewife and poetess . I was studying the whole day therefore to take a break I went to my mother in the evening to talk to her and spend some quality time. She was writing a poem on her mobile. I waited for her to finish for 15 minutes . Then it turned to 20 minutes . My mother continued writing while i sat silently . At the end I quietly moved away going to my room when she asked where am I going. I felt that she didn't ask me anythingn while I was with her now she is asking where am I going. Though I support her a lot and often encourages her to write, I feel that pay attention to that person who has come to you . Don't let him/her wait for a long time. Maybe I am wrong here and not understanding her point of view but thats what I think .
Thank you,
Love ❤

You’re making a very valid point that I agree with. People are way too engrossed on their phones even at totally inappropriate times which can often be deemed selfish or disrespectful/inconsiderate
