Hi I have been struggling getting myself back up again. I have no motivation. no motivation to eat, do homework or to fix my body because im very skinny and I hate being weak and not having curves. ever since I been in school I been miserable I have been torn in to pieces. I was abused and bullied for being stupid, for having a disability when I was younger and for being too fat or skinny. I have gotten out of school and now doing online school. so I just need advice to motive myself and to love myself.

i find that treating myself like i am my own child, or the child version of my past helps me do the things i need to when i’m feeling bad. close your eyes and picture yourself as a little girl/boy.(if you have childhood photos to reference use those! it makes it more impactful). now think of all the things you need to do for yourself: washing your hair, brushing your teeth, nurturing your mind, giving yourself love. but picture these things like you’re doing it for the child instead. you brush that child’s(aka yourself)teeth because you care about them enough to not let them rot. you bathe them and braid their hair because it makes them feel healthy and comfortable in their own skin. you put them to bed at a reasonable hour because they deserve a good sleeping schedule. you read a book to them before bed because their mind and soul need knowledge/imagination. children are the most innocent beings on this planet. they are not born malicious, angry, or discriminatory. they’re a blank slate and open to everything and deserve effort and thoughtfulness from the adults in their lives. so be kind to your child self. He/she has always been a part of you and they haven’t done anything wrong.( everybody says it, but as someone who was a teen just a few years ago and attempted MULTIPLE times to kms, people really do mean it when they say it gets easier. I hope the heaviness lingering around you lightens up soon. you’re wonderful. you’re human. and you deserve to feel alive. i hope you find what makes you feel alive 🤍)
ReplyLook in a mirror every day and tell yourself that you are smart, and not too fat or too skinny. In fact I am really in great shape and I am a very worthwhile person. Say these things over and over every day until you believe them.
