long distance isn’t so easy after all. my boyfriend and i are doing long distance because he got into college just recently. we’re 3 years in the relationship. the thing is though, he’s insecure? no, i understand completely that everyone is insecure about something. i mean i’m insecure too and i don’t feel beautiful at times. but my boyfriend, he’s perfect, he’s doing amazing, and he’s really handsome. he just doesn’t see it though? he doesn’t like taking photos of himself literally doing anything, even if it’s just for me and to make me happy. he always says he looks weird? do i not compliment him enough, i know i do. but he always just doesn’t believe me. its almost impossible to get a single picture of his face from him, it goes to a point where i have to beg to get at least one picture. it gets so tiring. he always gets pictures and videos from me and it’s unfair that i don’t get anything in return. we’ve been together for quite some time now i don’t know how long i can keep begging for pictures of him.

Hmm very interesting. In my humble observation, beauty fades, literally. So it's pointless to love your beauty since it will be in a constant changing decline. However, if you love your children or your spouse or your best friend forever or whomever... more than you love yourself - you will be amazed at what you can accomplish for them. Although an annual picture at the least is very entertaining. Best of luck.
Courtesy notice: the following includes a reference to a book that contains writings over 2000 years old which are mostly parables about human nature, both vile human nature as well as moral human nature, parables that are meant to teach us to learn and grow, including the teachings of Christ Jesus. No religion required, and better yet: no public displays of devotion required, although the former and latter are admirable if practiced freely out of one's own free will and without the threat of being beheaded. Some bullies will label this "trolling", so "change the channel" now if of no interest to you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
Mark 12:28-31
And Christ Jesus said the 2 greatest commandments are:
Love God first and foremost.
Love your fellow-being as you love yourself.
From following or not following these, all good or evil cascades, respectively.
Love...that powerful, invisible, intangible force that cannot be denied; even atheists live and die by it.
Mary, Mother of Christ, intercede for us with your prayers, now, and always.
And after our worst deeds - never forget God forgives us when we repent through Christ Jesus.
