Thanks for blowing up in my face over video chat

Now I know we aren't friends

Because friends aren't this possessive

Telling me you can't be happy for me

Because how dare I be in a relationship

With a man who loves me

Turns out the truth is

I was your long-term option

That's what I've learned

What the others have confirmed

I wanted to think

That it was merely platonic

But, now its so clear

That's completely not it

And I don't even fear

That this is the end of us

We're not even talking

And I just feel relief

I can't say I miss a thing

After what you pulled

Along with lies you told

I deleted your pictures

Because the thought of you

And how you treated me

Just like a thing

Is simply unsettling
