I don't know what it's like to be happy anymore... last time I was truly happy was in 2nd grade then everything went down hill in third grade... I don't know maybe I'll never be happy again I'm now graduated and in college and I still don't know how to feel happy... I've tried to hard to change the way I am and make myself feel happy but I just can't... I don't know what's wrong with me and it scares me so much to know that I can never be able to fix it... I just want to be happy again... that's all I want is to be happy...

A letter he'll never read
Is it you? Are you the one? Or is it the slightly less appealing alternative? The one where I am alone in my pathetic-ness? I can see it though. Really clea...

I am so sorry that you are feeling lost, and unhappy. I know exactly how it feels to be bogged down by a growing drudgery. It feels uncontrollable and like it is consuming you. Here is something that I try to do when I feel that way. I keep a positivity journal. I make myself think of one thing that was good today. It could be something big, but it could be something small. For instance: "10-05-2016 Today my sister called me just to say hello. We talked for an hour about our lives, I don't think I've laughed that much in a couple months. I really love my sister, and I am so glad I have her." And then when you're feeling really down you'll have a whole book full of GOOD things that have happened to you in the last week/month/year.I know it sounds cheesy, and like it wont help, but it really does. It's so easy to get stuck on those crappy things that happen in the day and to dwell on them. This way you are forcing yourself to look at something positive. And if you write it down and come back to it, you wont remember that you spilled your coffee right after you bought it, you'll remember the cute person who opened the door for you when you were coming out of the grocery store.I would start with a positivity journal, but also look for someone you can talk too. A guardian, or even a counselor. I prefer a counselor because they have so many resources because it is their job too. Not to mention they are totally a non-biased third party, who legally cant tell anyone what you talk about. They are a sounding board with a fresh perspective, they are friendly, and they are helpful. A lot of schools offer them, and some jobs will have a program for employees to get free counseling, you can check if your health insurance covers any type of counseling, or you can google your city and see if they have any resources.Hopefully this will help.Have a day full of bliss!
ReplyYou should just visit a counsellor. They are expert in this. They'll tell you whats wrong exactly.I did and they do miracles. :)
