I know this sounds stupid but I didn't know where else to go for advice..
I bought a puffer jacket for winter while it was on sale and discounted from a very high price. When it came in I tried it on and it's too big on me but I love the color and the material of it. I also can't exchange it for a smaller size because I can't afford it with the current price it has.
My mom suggested we take it to a seamstress and have her make the jacket exactly for my size.. but my older sister said to just return it and find another or wait for another discount.
During cold season the jackets are always overpriced in my area so chances to find another jacket like that are very slim, but if I give it to a seamstress I could damage it forever and if I don't like it I won't be able to return it.
Another option would be reselling it for a price closer to it's original one (big money) .. but if no one buys it I might be stuck with it foever...
What do you suggest I should do?

I don't feel real

Try selling it until it gets cold, then u can go to the seamstress and find out if it works. If you really like the jacket, I think it's worth it to try to save it though :) A few years from now, you won't remember or miss the money you spent on a random jacket, but you'll know if you miss that one perfect jacket you could've had
