Hey Y'all, this post isn't to push my faith on anyone. I just felt proud of myself and decided to share this, for anyone else who might be in my situation.
I've recently began my relationship with God. I didn't grow up religious, never went to church or read the bible. Recently I've started attending my friend's youth group and church services. At first, it was just to connect and have fun with other young ppl my age, but as it continued I started to find my faith.
Recently, I had to have a vaccination, I am extremely needle phobic so this was terrifying to me. So I prayed to God. I asked him to give me the strength to do this. And he did. I know this may not seem like a big deal to lots of dedicated Christians but for me, it was. I felt as though God was with me, every step of the way. I was so excited to tell my youth leaders, they were happy for me, but not to the extent I expected. Sometimes I feel like everyone is so advanced, and so comfortable in their faith. Preaching and worshipping everyday while I'm here getting excited over a prayer. This is a reminder to anyone starting their journey with faith to celebrate the small things, even when everyone else seems so be so much better than you. I am proud of you, and so is Jesus.

You will be excited over small things at first and this is good because the excitement will keep your faith and interest in God going. Don't compare yourself to others and just go along at your own pace. I am very happy for you and I hope that you have a great relationship with God.
