The weirdest thing happened today. I was outside just standing when all of a sudden a wasp or smth flew at me and landed on my shoulders. I’m afraid of these bugs so I stayed still and tried to not panic and scream (there were ppl around so I kind of had to keep calm.) I tried to move my arm slightly so it could fly away but it didn’t. It stayed on my shoulder for around five minutes. Atp I had to leave and I was freaking out. I started panicking and my heart started beating so fast that I thought the bee stung me. I could kind of feel pain in my arm (i think I was just hallucinating it.) after many failed attempts at getting the bee to fly away I realized I had to get it off before it potentially stung me. I flicked it with an object gently but it was STUCK and LATCHED on to my arm. It felt so weird as I’ve never seen a wasp do this without flying away. I then flicked a lot harder to which it fell to the ground. I felt bad doing this but there was no other option. The bee then fell on the ground barely moving. I have no idea why this happened. I also don’t know if it stung me and that’s why it was stuck. I was wearing a thick sweater so it’s possible I didn’t feel it but idk. Has anyone seen this before and what’s the reason? Was the bee just injured and didn’t fly away, or did it try and sting me?
