It’s already the second-to-last month of the year. Despite my efforts at slow living, time seems to fly. I feel like I just wrote the October report a few days ago, so I was surprised when the calendar reminder popped up.
Did everyone enjoy Halloween? 🎃
I didn’t do much for the occasion. I find real life and people scarier, so I just went about my life as it is. 😅 Eerie things pique my curiosity, but I really hate jump scares, so horror isn’t my thing.
It's getting cold these past few days—it makes it hard to get up in the morning. 😪 I often want to stay cocooned in my blanket, but I have so much work. 🥲 It rains, yet it’s warm and sunny most days. Making outdoor plans can be tricky, so it’s always good to have an umbrella! ☂️ The cold, dry air can irritate your throat, so keep your body warm with hot water when you wake up.
As the temperature drops, warm food also becomes more enjoyable. 🍜 I had the classic soup and hot dark chocolate combo for breakfast the other day, and it was so good, I almost cried. 😂
What have you been up to lately? 🌷 I’m thinking about starting small projects—the kind we used to do during summer or winter breaks. I don't get many vacations now, but I explore new interests whenever I can.
As I write this, I recall planning to organize a digital journal and make bracelets a few years ago. Right now, I have a box of pretty beads and an app for my journal, and just thinking about what I could create makes my heart race!
If you feel like it, try something new this month! It could be as simple as taking morning walks, picking up an indoor hobby, changing your style, or refreshing your space. Start small, and don’t stress about doing too much all at once. 🤗
It may be hard to break your routine at first, but if you change your mood, I think you'll get easily addicted to it. 😉
As I wrote in the beginning, the air is getting colder and drier, so please be careful not to catch a cold! I also recommend wearing masks. I still wear one sometimes—not just for my throat, but for a little confidence boost when I go barefaced. 😂
This month also begins with a time to remember our loved ones.🕯️It can be tough to revisit those memories, but I hope you can approach the day with a gentle heart. 🫂 Grieving is natural; it’s a sign of love that continues even when they’re no longer with us.
Sadly, this is my last Novni entry. I read about its upcoming closure, and while it’s sad, I understand the decision. I will miss it dearly. Thank you, Novni, for being a safe space for our unheard thoughts and feelings. 🥺
From here on, I'd be happy if you can enjoy yourself at your own pace in November as well. 🍃 Thank you for always giving your best. Let’s have a great month! 💪
