Going to talk about an abuse

I was working as an assistant director to a film maker who is considered as a progressive film maker in Tamil Nadu after his entry the way of a particular oppressed community representation has changed. Thinking that he would help me I joined in his firm as an assistant. Even before that role i worked as a creative producer in hai own you tube channel. Later he suddenly sent everyone out ( the whole team which was full of women ) stating that we didn't generate revenue. First of all we didn't have a social media manager. Without giving prior notice he sent us out. Now it has been replaced with a new team which is also not generating income and revenue but it's a full boys team. As a woman am also oppressed right I thought he would understand that. Suddenly one day he asked to send my resume and then hired me as his AD. I never dreamt of being his AD i have approached but only through what's app not seriously. I have already made a short film in his productions and then I worked as a creative producer in you tube and then joined as an assistant in his office. As a part of movement they have to stand against caste. But surprisingly I have been told by a man that he will not eat my food because am not a dalit. I got hurted badly and complained to the director. He said that he warned them again the same incident continued. Following this complaint someone else surprisingly came and fought with me for rising the issues to the director. So right from the begining I joined there I had issues in the work space. Men will randomly talk about sex positions they will pass vulgar comments during the casting process on women artists. A man has asked me the meaning of rub, caress and stroke as if he doesn't know English but the image which he has is clearly depicting that it's sexually provoking. I faced continuous abuse and bullying in the space. In a party one of my colleague inappropriately tried to remove my dress. I informed this to him but the maximum action that he could take is he could call them and warn and do nothing more than that. He has never took any serious actions like suspending or dismissing the people out of the place. When I sent a resignation mail stating these issues he tried to protect the name of his movement and twisted that I am the one who is collectively accusing the movement. I didn't accuse the movement I was talking about the people who work there. I don't understand the point of running an Ambedkar movement without providing a safe space for women...... At last every where men are dominating. Let the nature and universe punish those who deploy women, who make the dreams of women vanish.
