My Unsent Letter to Ms. Guilty Pleasure

This is a letter sent to you who I see almost everyday. We're not that close of friends individually but we've bonded a few times with our group of friends, specifically our classmates. You've shown a few bits of your vulnerability and how you treasure your friends dearly. It's something I've admired about you. The way you share your passion in singing and performing and playing has got me wondering what more can you show. Although as much as I want to entertain anything, I wouldn't want to risk to try something with you as I am sure it won't be a success. If anything, we would try or at least I know I would try but I have the strongest gut feeling that it will not work out.

I've seen your flaws, your annoying habits and vices. And yet there were days I've thought more of you in spite of it. Maybe in another life or in another year or an alternate universe where I could've known you in a different context and I could've had more courage to entertain my thoughts about you. But for now, I'll watch you go crazy for another girl. I'll continue pushing the thoughts of you away and just feel the fleeting moments of attraction I have for you.

May someone give you the love you deserve. And if someday our paths cross and everything is brand new, maybe then I could open my mind to the thought of wanting you again..
