Thank you for giving me the best four years of my life
Thank you for showing me what love was
Thank you for showing me that love is kind and it doesn’t have to be abusive and forceful as I once knew it to be
Thank you for making me feel like you meant everything you said
Thank you for teaching me to be strong enough to pull the words out of your gut
Thank you for making me be patient– and letting me know that our love was unrequited
Thank you for giving me my space when I needed it
Thank you for realizing that you liked the space more than I did
Thank you for leaving so many things to remember you by– even though you’re thousand miles away
Thank you for taking the positivity out of things I once loved to see, hear, and experience
I hope you’re enjoying the taste of my blood running on your tongue and down your legs
The blade was in your grasp and the stitches in mine
I hope you’ve talked to my parents about the hospital bills because you don’t have to pay the price
Because I love you, I hope you’re enjoying the taste of all the food that I have deprived myself of after you decided I was not palatable
You knew I was the weaker of the two
We ended like a razor blade. Quickly and painfully but with hesitation
Take the years we spent together and do with them as you please
Just in taking them, don’t take what’s left of me
And thank you again for saving my life, and later making me realize I had the capacity to end it again
Because I love you, I give you my blood. I give you the pounds I have shed
Thank you for giving me the best four years of my life.

Stay strong, friend! It's sad to hear you've resorted to cutting yourself, but trust me, it won't make things better.
You ARE strong. You're human and no matter how many bad things surround that word, people get up and try again. You may think you're too weak and wounded, your legs too frail and your mind too damaged, but believe me when I say this; you're stronger than you think.
It's not weak to ask for help and it doesn't make you seem needy or burden the person you're asking, they care. Talk to someone you can depend on when you get like this. And if you don't have anyone or they don't pick up, we're here for you. You can get through this.
Please stay alive. ❤️
