So. I think i have slight clinical depression. All the other mental health sites online say that i have severe depression, but, do i really? Some days i wake up and feel nothing. No emotions, no motivation and sometimes i cry for literally no reason. I think the crying bit might be from puberty (perhaps before a period or something??).
Another thing that's wrong with me is that most of the time it feels like the air I'm breathing is so thin and it's not going into my lungs, but it is, but it isn't. This means that i panic slightly and my breathing becomes faster but it feels like the air im breathing isn't entering my lungs and keeping me alive which makes me overthink and fills my head with crazy scenarios that upset me. I know that the worst thing to do is to Google it but i did and couldn't find any thing about feeling like this air is paper thin.
Ooh another thing that I've just remembered was a lingering feeling on my neck. Ok, put your hands softly bbut firmly around your neck. Thats the best way to explain how my skin feels most of the time. It makes me feel sick. If anything were to touch my neck, the touch would stay on my skin and i hate hate hate it.
I just want to know what these things are called. Xx

Have you tried talking to a professional, or a friend; family member? googling it would just make you feel worst, perhaps talk to an elder or a friend or seek for professional help. Try not to over think it too much.
ReplyA clinical psychologist is the most qualified to make a diagnosis of depression. A real diagnosis cannot be made with an online screening tool. As for the symptom you describe of the air seeming "thin", that's commonly associated with anxiety. Anxiety can be a part of a depression diagnosis, it can be a separate diagnosis, or it can be a symptom of another problem (just as depressive symptoms can). Talk to a clinical psychologist.
