I hate coronavirus! It sucks and I am bored and mildly depressed. I also have mild insomnia, which has been acting up lately, and it is terrible. I don't know how to fix it, and I just hate my insomnia. Also, I'm not sure if other people have this, but even when my insomnia isn't acting up, I think about all of the bad things I have done and that will sometimes make it act up a little.

definitely relate to this. i just find distractions. read something, watch something, make something. do something that requires your focus. if your focus easily rests somewhere else, it helps bad thoughts lessen a bit. hope you sleep easy tonight. wishing you well
ReplyI know right! I'm used to being free and hanging out with me friends, but then Mr. Corona comes around and wrecks it all! I have also had trouble sleeping, but here's a little secret the army uses..
- Start by doing slow breathing. Breathe in through your nose & out your mouth. Repeat this for at
least 1 minute
- Lay flat on your back, arms by your side, legs straight down
- Empty your mind of thoughts, or just think calm, nice, soothing thoughts
- Close your eyes. Let your mind drift off. Breathe slowly.
I do hope this helps you. The army practice this method, and they can sleep though ANYTHING.
