A Parable for America
At a time when the land was able to cast their lot to choose the one who would lead their nation, the Pharisees came to Jesus to test Him. They said to Him, “Teacher, you know that we will soon choose the one who will lead us. He is the one who will govern our land and bring us to justice and prosperity. Tell us, if You are able, to whom should we cast our lot?”
Jesus, knowing their hearts, turned to His disciple and said “There was once a wise man who was known by the surrounding region to be good and just. He worked by the sweat of his brow and gave freely to the poor and needy. There was also a foolish man who was known to be stubborn, who was a glutton and a drunkard, and he spent his inheritance on his own pleasures. When the time to choose their leader came, the wise man said, ‘I will cast my lot to the one like me, for he is good and wise, and will bring justice to our nation.’ The foolish man likewise came to cast his lot, and he said ‘I will cast my lot to the one like me, for he will allow me and my kinsmen to spend their inheritances, and live freely off the land as we please.’ Now when the lots were counted, the nation chose the lot of the foolish and wicked ruler, and he soon brought shame and condemnation to the people, and the people suffered greatly under his rule.
When the time of worship came, the wise man lifted his voice unto the Lord saying ‘Lord, Lord, why did you allow evil to come into our midst? Why have you delivered us into the hands of the evil and wicked ruler?’ Likewise came the foolish man, and he tore his clothes and cried out ‘O Father, according to your great and abundant grace, have mercy on me. For I am a foolish man, and the lot I cast brought wickedness to my kinsmen, and now my whole nation suffers. Lord I am undone, and you are right when you judge. Please forgive me of my sins!’
Now answer me if you are able, which man glorified the Father? The wise man who cast his lot to the wise? Or the foolish man, who cast his lot to the foolish, but repented?” His disciple said, “tell me teacher, for I cannot answer.”
Jesus turning back to the Pharisees said, “Haven’t you heard that it is written, ‘I own the cattle on 1000 hills’, or ‘all that is in the earth is mine?’ Truly, I tell you, David, the anointed king from God, laid down with the wife of another man, and also Solomon feared God when he built the temple, but turned away to other gods. Or do you not remember when the house of Israel did what was right in their own eyes, yet it was restored when Josiah removed the idols from their midst, and dedicated it back to the Lord? Therefore, I tell you, trust not in the lot you cast, but in the Father, for He will give you all that you need. For from the hardness of your hearts, you killed John the Baptist after he came with a message of repentance. Moses told you to ‘love justice,’ but I tell you to love one another, that you may lead others to repentance. Bad fruit does not produce bad soil, rather bad soil produces bad fruit.”
After this, the Pharisees went away, grumbling about how they might destroy Him.

It's become as Sodom and Gomorrah. So don't wonder why we have chaos kicking God out of school and government. He has feelings too. Next to nobody care about their neighbor anymore. Just self or how can I mess over take advantage of someone before they do me. Racism and hatred rampant and leaders like they're still in kindergarten. It's a real mess. It'll go the way it's meant to go I suppose.
