Humility

she’s small, quiet and soft spoken. she’ll let you have the attention always while she pines away building a statue in your honor. but if you overstep your space, blackening the gold hued aura with the rainbow fleckes she created, by the gross and hideous proud way you’ve conducted yourself, she will rise out of her crouched position to whip you in the back as if you were Jesus being tortured 1,000 times, making you carry your shame and cross in a way that will humble you. then she’ll retreat back into her crouched position to build you back up, because she was born to work so hard, the proverbs woman that has painstakingly labored and worked, firmly and graciously with a smile on her face, because she really does love her lot in life. she wants only for you to be noticed for the correct reasons. it’s you in your correct image she idolizes, no one else’s. she’ll forgive the inhumane things you have done, for you did not know. she was there to help ensure that Jesus would notice and stomp them out dead for you. don’t be discouraged when you see her scurry away. you’re a man now. she’s needed elsewhere. the woman who crouches until she’s called to rise up again. the woman of humility.
