When I look at the child I was, it hurts in a way to see how great and sincere my dreams were. As I grew older, my dreams went with me, only it shrank. Life was not as simple as I put it and I had to be more "realistic". So I dreamed another dream. It was as fulfilling as it should, momentarily. I doubted my intentions and realized, my dreams became too safe and almost selfish. When you watched life prove your first purpose to be too ambitious, too great, it seems security will be your priority. The universe had become too wide for a single human creature to comprehend. If it's too imposing to make a significant impact on other people's lives and the planet, and treating my dream only as a personal gratification will not appease me, what's the point of it all? But life being what it is, there are always bright revelation behind these clouds over our heads. People whose heart is teeming with drive and passion to help others through the life they have got remind me just how much I can still make out of mine. Finding the purpose that speaks to your truth can be overwhelming when you don't believe in the sense of your existence. If we look at ourselves in the grand scale of life, we are insignificant. The world doesn't wait for a single one of us. We have to accept that within the universe are countless mysteries. A single creature cannot possibly figure out all the right answers to all questions. Everyday we are faced with certain uncertainties, and it is only deriving that we can't also have it all figured out. So isn't it more meaningful if we shift our perspective only to the light that reaches us? And just let the universe take its course beyond it? Our life is in this planet, and while we can breathe, move, feel and think, then this world can still sense our presence. We can dream again without downsizing it as much as possible. We just have to weigh the options life provides us, and make the most out of it with the best that we can for what matters for ourselves and beyond ourselves. In that I think, we can live life to the fullest.
