Years ago I would have been terrified to eat what I've been eating. The trick was to go slowly out of my comfort zone. I also had to get my hormones fixed because not eating for long periods of time can destroy your hormone levels. I just feel so proud of myself for eating a good amount of this Thai curry pasta my mom and I made together. I know that even last year I would have felt guilt for eating half of what I ate! I would have felt really down after eating as well. Well, lately I've been making so many breakthroughs. I went on a dinner date with a guy and did not feel panicked when eating. I couldn't have even done that six months ago. I just remember feeling so hopeless and suicidal in the past about my life and poor mental health. I felt out of control with my ED and feared every situation involving food. It can get better. It did for me.
