I recently moved into a new state, and my parents chose a neighborhood with few kids to live in, which I was fine with. We had nice neighbors; It was a family of five. Two daughters that went to my high school, and a son whose in his last year of middle school. And of course the lovely parents. The dad worked in the Air Force.
I've been living next to them for about four months. We've been spending summer break together. The two girls are both older than me and usually don't spend much time outside.
I like sitting in the sun, and so does the boy. Let's call him Patrick for now.
So Patrick is really nice to me. He always does everything like prepare drinks and snacks even when it's my turn to. He always asks what I want to do, and when we're looking at the clouds, I catch him looking at me sometimes.
Patrick's a little taller than me, and once I said "Woah, you're really tall!" And he looked really flustered and embarrassed.
His mom always says that we look cute together, and Patrick always says, "Mom!" and blushes a lot.
I think he's really cute, and I think I maybe like him. Should I ask him out?
