It hasn't been that long since I started working and I just landed a new job which I start coming Monday. The thing is, I always have this fear of working. I keep thinking that I am not good enough, that I might mess things up and cost the company something. This job that I landed promises to teach stuff on the job, it has a training period but still I am very anxious about it. I am having anxiety about not being competent enough to learn what they teach me and especially be slow learning it or delivery the task.
If you have ever experienced this, how do you cope with it? How do I make myself stop feeling like this cause honestly it impacts me alot.

I don't understand, help me. =_=

Maybe your fear is from something like an event that happened in the past? Looking deeper within yourself really helps. Maybe you should take time for meditation and writing about your feeling. :)
ReplyYes I've experienced it. I absolutely understand your feelings because one job I had you didn't know what you were coming into each day and people weren't too patient. Plus hateful yelling co workers and bosses. The only real way to cope with it is to do the best you can, let the rest go. I wouldn't be too concerned costing the company money. Id be more concerned learning your job and about your own well being.
ReplyGosh I really relate. I myslef think it’s due to my own self confidence. But living in fear of everything I do isn’t nice and I wish I was like coworkers who are calm and collective. I also am very slow at picking things up. I will prep ahead of time and it feels like the harder long routed way but it gets the job done.
