We met in a coffee shop near the university where she's a student. It's also just a few blocks away from where I live as well. We got to talking while waiting in line and then continued talking while we enjoyed our drinks. We really hit it off and became friends, and then eventually lovers.
However, we've had to keep the relationship a secret. Her parents wouldn't approve of her dating someone so much older and I'm sure my friends and family would find it weird that I could have so much in common with someone so much younger. Sometimes I find myself wondering if this relationship is a good idea, but I also can't bring myself to end it either. I'm just too smitten with her. So now I'm feeling kind of torn.

She is legal so don't worry. There are many people in relationships who have wide age gaps. Ignore what others say or think.
ReplyI met my ex this way too. Odd couple, the relationship last 15yrs. a lot of good and bad. In a way, glad we met and tried.
otherwise, it would be full of what if or the one that got away because of what other people thought of us.
