My birthday is this week. A big one. 40. The last few years my life has been filled with so many ups and downs. I did some things in my 30s I never thought I'd ever do, which was kinda amazing. Now I seem to be on a downward trajectory, plateaued at slightly-above rock bottom. Last year my life rebooted. I'm single, not financially-great, and back living with my parents. Sort of treading water and not sure how to get out of the lake. I'm getting tired. So very tired.

Dont fret it. Things happen. I am in the same boat. Disabled at 32 moved home and now at 43 still single, living at home taking care of my parents. Focus on getting financially stable.
Im no train wreck but I’ve had my fair share of ups and downs. Helps to keep busy keeping focused. Long term relationship turned sour when her true colors shined thru and i walked away.
Take time and focus on yourself. Take a mental vacation. You will be surprised when you focus on #1 how things change. Your true friends will understand those that dont don’t deserve a spot in your life for a while.
Things sadly will get worse before they get better. As you work on yourself some things may come out. Let them out. Get your feelings out in the open. People will understand.
Just be watching out for that life ring while treading water. You might be surprised who throws it.
Take care.
Replyas he mention, embrace the downs. Because until you do and fully grasp the down, will you force yourself for the better. You can keep being misery, but if it isnt enough to force you to change embrace it. It will one day snap and you realize, I NEED TO CHANGE. and it will. and you will be sooo much happier. it does get better, change your focus/view/goal/method and it will
ReplyCheer up! Life may be tough right now but you're strong since you face every struggle in your past years and you still here. When I get so tired and gets lack motivation I tried to go back to my hobbies that I neglect because of my busy working life. Somehow it helps me, I love reading a book so lately I binge reading again it makes me break away from my gadget and social stress. And also try to get out and unwind you will appreciate the scenery more. hope it helps ^^
