I don’t like you

My friend will not stop doing things I like to get closer to me. It’s like he finds out bands I told him about weeks ago, acts like he forgets, and then asks me “hey have you heard of this band?.” It may sound dumb that I’m frustrated but it makes me really uncomfortable thinking that he might be interested in me. And he acts dumb about it too which infuriates me.

I have turned to giving him the cold shoulder as much as I possibly can but then I’ll strike small talk with him cause hey he’s part of my bigger friend group and it starts all over again like NOOOOOO PLEASE. And like he will act like one artist is his favorite in the world cause I like them and then like a week later he switches his mind to another artist that I like. And their music is very different from one another, it’s like not common for people to like both so NO HOW is this man willingly listening to these bands and enjoying them.

And then he’ll also like these crush related videos on instagram which are VERY ODDLY SPECIFIC to me. I know he does not have any other female friends so it’s like a big face palm.
