"I love her and she loves me, but maybe this isn't our destiny.
With the whole world against us, how long can we fight?
Before they destroy all we've made right.
With rules and regulations, we cling on desperately.
Every time we touch, we leave with scars.
Due to some other higher power.
And all our happiness they shall devour.
For this true love can never be ours."
My inspiration: my significant other and I have been together for six months, and as much as I love her, our school has done everything it can to make life hell for us.

ReplyI'm in love with a girl, she's in love with me. Where's the problem then? I wish I knew the answer.
I really like the poem because it kind of describes my situation. Every time we get close something bad happens and we are back at the beginning.
ReplyYour poem is amazing. Itโs so true, which is why you, me, us, we, we need to fight back. We wonโt stop until love wins.
ReplyI'm so sorry. Hate shouldn't exist. But don't fight what you hate, fight for what you love!!! You and your girlfriend seem amazing and I love you two already! Hold on, everything will be okay :)
